Home Eco-audits
We were one of the first companies in the country to start offering home eco -audits
in 2005.
Since then we have helped home-owners in many parts of Britain to improve the environmental
performance of their homes and reduce their carbon footprint.
Our home eco-audits include:
- Pre eco-audit carbon and environmental footprint evaluation form
- Detailed 2 to 3 hour site-visit with owner
- Follow up electronic report, with recommendations for improvement and contacts where
relevant
The eco-audit process can address the full range of your home’s environmental performance,
depending on your specific requirements including:
- Energy carbon footprint
- Water efficiency
- Recycling/material use/maintenance issues
- Food/ transport
- Waste reduction
- Potential for renewables
- Electricity use
- Heating efficiency
- Thermal Imaging
People choose to have a home eco-audit for a wide range of reasons, these include:
- Want to reduce running costs
- Want to cut their carbon footprint
- Want advice on what renewable energy may be suitable
- Wish to have advice on wider environmental lifestyle issues
- Are about to carry out a renovation, refurbishment or extension and want advice on
how to do it in an eco-friendly manner
- Are about to replace a boiler and want to look at wider options
Cost
From £250 plus travel costs.
The full fee is payable upon receipt of your eco-audit report. The fees are fully
refundable (excluding expenses incurred) if you feel value has not been received.
