Company Eco-audits
3 Acorns Eco-audits have provided eco-audits to a wide range of companies across
Britain from pharmaceutical corporate headquarters to one-person small-businesses
since 2005.
We co-deliver the Corporation of London’s City Bridge Trust’s programme of free eco-audit
grants for London charities since 2008.
An eco-audit assesses the current environmental practices of an organisation and
creates a work plan for their improvement.
Eco-audits include:
- Initial discussions with management on the desired scope for their eco-audit project.
- Pre eco-audit environmental data collection.
- Site walkabout with facilities manager.
- Attendance at a staff meeting to explain the process and to include employee input
and suggestions.
- One-to-one meetings with key decision makers and management.
- A comprehensive, detailed electronic report outlining the organisation’s existing
good environmental practice and a work plan of specific recommendations for improvements.
- Return update visit after one year.
- Ongoing support/consultancy can be given following the audit if assistance in its
implementation is required.
- Licence to use the 3 Acorns Eco-Audited Logo following completion of the eco-audit.
Our approach is friendly, accessible and down to earth. We aim to be sensitive to
